Who Chose Security First

Deca Dev Ltd is a UK-based security engineering company. We build hosting infrastructure where security is foundational — not bolted on after the fact.

Most Hosting Platforms Treat Security as an Afterthought

The standard approach to hosting is to deploy first and harden later — if at all. Security configurations are optional, defaults are permissive, and compliance is treated as a checkbox exercise. We saw too many platforms where "secure hosting" meant a firewall in front of an otherwise unprotected stack.

We decided to build the platform we wanted to use ourselves — one where every layer, from the kernel upward, is hardened before it ever accepts a workload.

How We Work

01
Security by Default
Every configuration choice starts from the most secure option. Relaxing a policy is a deliberate, audited decision — never the default.
02
Honest Engineering
We build what we can stand behind. We don't claim certifications we don't have. We ship what works and are transparent about what's still in progress.
03
Sovereign Infrastructure
We believe organisations should own and control their hosting infrastructure. Your hardware, your premises, your jurisdiction — our engineering to make it secure.
04
Simplicity Over Complexity
A hardened platform shouldn't require a PhD to operate. We invest in interface design so that strong security doesn't come at the cost of usability.
05
Open Foundations
We build on proven open-source components — Rocky Linux, SELinux, AppArmor, Docker, eBPF. We harden and integrate; we don't reinvent without reason.
06
Eat Our Own Cooking
DSEC OS runs our own internal production workloads. We don't ship a platform we wouldn't trust with our own systems. Every decision is tested in practice, not just theory.

Pre-Release, Production-Tested

DSEC OS is currently in active use on our own internal production systems. We run real workloads on it daily — it's not a prototype or a proof of concept.

We're now beginning to onboard a small number of external organisations through our early access programme. We're looking for security-conscious teams who need sovereign hosting and are willing to work closely with us as we refine the platform for general availability.

We're not trying to scale fast. We're trying to build something we're proud of, and we'd rather work with ten clients who genuinely need this than a hundred who don't.
